Yup, I managed to weigh in today at 179.2lbs. Not sure how I managed to do that!
Big news on the work front!
I was asked to be a union dresser for WICKED when the Broadway tour comes to Milwaukee next week. It runs for 3 weeks at nights so I can do it in addition to my day job. I will be very busy but this is one of my dream shows to work for!!!
This means I will have to make sure to go running in the morning before I go to my office job, bring a healthy lunch (which I always do), and then have something healthy quick and easy before jumping on my bike for a quick ride downtown. I don't count these bike rides as AP's b/c it is only like 1/2 mile lol.
Very exciting.
The boy goes on drill this weekend.
Not exciting.
Then he goes on his long training drill at the end of the month. I am glad I will have this play at the exact time his is gone so at least I will be busy. We are planning to take a trip when he gets back!
Yesterday I made WW Baja-Fish Tacos.
I flippin' hated them!
And I love tacos with seafood usually.
I don't think the fish I bought was as fresh as they should have been.
This was probably my least liked WW recipe to date.
I also hated the sauce used in the recipe. I threw out the left over fish from dinner and the sauce. I also need to scrub my kitchen and fridge b/c they now smell! MAJOR GROSSNESS!
The pics look really good though although Blogger is not letting me post them right now. I will go back and fix this!
Breakfast:
Bagel thin with microwaved egg and WW Cream Cheese
Coffee with Creamer
Lunch:
Sandwich with RF and Chicken
Cherries
Grapes
Cheese stick
chocolate almond
Kashi bar
Dinner:
2 bowls honey nut cheerios with skim milk
Turkey chedder dog with bun
Can of green beans
DP - 32.5DP
No Ap's earned.
The boy had to wake up at 4:30a for work so I was up early as well and I am just too darn tired today.
Tomorrow starts Bastille Days in Milwaukee. My friend just asked me if I wanted to storm the bastille tomorrow at 9pm which is a fun 5k run. I said yes! Its a great time and what better way to re-motive me about running! It's the first time the boy will be at a race I do! Exciting!
I will let you know how it goes!!
The cats are quite frankly cute as heck but hot. It is humid here in WI. They are mostly just sleeping in the windows or on top of the fans.

Post- Face Smashing
Yup its been awhile and this time I have a really, really good excuse.
I passed out and landed on my face bruising the entire right side of my face and 6 stitches around my eye.
Yeah it hasn't been the best couple of weeks ever for this gal.
So here is what happened. My FSIL had her baby, and I was visiting her and the baby (9lbs 1oz!!) in the hospital. I had only been there for about 2 hours total. I was feeling ok then I went to sit on the edge of a chair. Apparently at this point I got up walked out of the room and passed out in front of the nurses station and landed on my face. Thus I was rushed to the ER b/c I had cut up my face pretty badly. I spent 3 hours in the ER and had to get parts of my face glued together and 6 stitches. They are still unsure why I passes out but it was probably low blood sugar. Very uncool.
Flash forward 3 weeks: my stitches are out, no more bruises and the doc did a great job b/c I dont really have major scars.
So back to life a usually. A welcomed change of pace.
Summer is in full swing in Milwaukee. Summerfest is here which is a hugh music festival. Think 11 days of pure awesomeness. The boy and I went on Sunday, and saw The Gufs and BB King. Had some cheese curds but also walked like 5 miles so it balanced out ;-)
For today:
Breakfast:
Banana and mixed berry smoothie with skim milk
Bagel thin with WW cream cheese and egg
Snack
Fresh cherries
Lunch
1 cheese stick
3 point turkey sandwich
grapes
fiber 1 bar
Snack:
almonds
Dinner:
1 cup whole wheat pasta with sauce and ground tukery
Salad with red peppers
Dessert:
Oreo cookie
Workout:
4 mile run this morning at 6am!!!!!
5AP!
Total PTs = 29.5 Over 4.5, 5 aps used.
Current weight 179.4

I love Glee!
Seriously, I love Glee! I am sad it is over for the season but I love that they are playing re-runs on Thursdays! My bestie and I decided we were going to have to switch our date nights to Thursday now for the summer.
Today was rain-tastic in WI. I didn't run after work, and I ate 2 cookies, 1/2 a muffin and 4 oreo cookies. So basically I sucked it up with being OP today.
Breakfast:
Oatmeal prepared with Skim milk
1 apple
coffee with creamer
Snack:
1/2 commercially prepared chocolate chip muffin
Lunch:
Taco Bar- I did ok here.
1/2 cup shredded chicken with black beans on lettuce with tomatoes and salsa. Had a small side of refried beans and spanish rice
Snack:
2 M & M Cookies
Dinner:
Thin whole wheat spagetti with tomato sauce with 3oz chicken breast and 1/3 cup part skim rocacca cheese mixed in
1 bag steamed veggies
Dessert:
Light popcorn and oreos
Ok As I type this there is no way I needed to eat all this food. This is getting just silly now. I didn't get in my GHG, and I feel like crapola.
Hopefully, a terrible WI tomorrow morning this get my ass into gear. I feel bloated and nasty. I WANT TO BE ON PLAN.
To quote a Fellow WWer:
Sometimes being on WW is like getting out of bed on a cold morning. You don't want to do it, but you have to.
I just need to remind myself this.

moooovin'
Not me but the SIL. She is all moved into her new house and ready to pop out her first kid in about 2 weeks. :-) Exciting!
Foodwise. Didn't do well.
Had nachos, pizza, and cake on Saturday. Pizza was the moving lunch and nachos at the bday party. I was tired. Not going to lie. Did get in a light run and a bike ride though! Checked out the farmers market and it was fun but I didn't buy anything. Going to wait until payday before buying anything.
Sunday had mandatory family fun day at the base with DF and his nephew. Had some fresh fruit and veggies.... and a brat... and some popcorn... and some potato salad. I was utterly exhausted at this point and went home and cleaned up the kitchen.
Then the boy and I had corn on the cob (from my mom!) and turkey burgers... Good dinner right?! That was followed up by a gallon of low fat ice cream between the 2 of us. We were so tired we were in bed by 8:30pm.
My BF is super excited for the wedding and to be my maid of honor. It was worth the nachos and cake to see her!
Today:
Had training today with lunch provided. I tried to order fruit instead of fries with my chicken breast, and they said no special orders so I was given the fries. I was so embarrassed that I just ate the fries b/c I was hungry and didn't want to make a fuss.
Then I ran 3 miles today for 4 APs. I was tired and just made some apple pancakes for dinner.
Apple Pancakes
1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp baking soda and salt each
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1tbsp vegetable oil
Mix together and pour onto hot griddle sprayed with Pam. Makes about 10 pancakes.
I ate them all. They were healthy until I scarfed them all down.
Tomorrow is taco bar Tuesday at work. (I am at a conference with provided lunch.) I actually have a plan with just having some rice beans shredded chicken topped with lots of lettuce, tomato, and salsa!
The boy works late today so I won't see him today. I cuddled on the couch with Lily the cat instead and watched a Mid Summer's Night McGivern on Milwaukee Public TV. He is a local actor who I have worked with before who is seriously so funny! He was the trolley driver in The Princess Dairies for a main stream reference.

Drowning
For all the wonderful things that come with being engaged, comes a lot of challenges. I am not talking about any real issues with the boy just dealing with how to manage my time and eating. I wish they would make a movie or book about the real world version with being engaged. How fun, positive, and excellent it can be to have a new family now but also how time consuming it can be.
I will admit it. I have been too embarrassed to post lately b/c I have been completely off plan. I haven't gone running in a week. Last night, the boy and I ate about our weight each in fried chinese food..... and I had the left overs tonight for dinner. Le sigh... It's like everything I knew/know about Weight Watchers has flown out the window. You would think that with a pending dress and big day that would kick me into gear but it kind of has done the opposite.
Honestly, I am stressed out about how the boy and I will pay for our wedding, a house, and frankly just the groceries this next week. (I have 47 bucks left in my bank account until next week payday) This is going to be interesting.
SO here is the plan:
1. Assess what food I have in the fridge. Make it work for the next week.
I know I need fruit, bread, and lunch meat for next week's lunches. (Or enough leftovers to bring for lunch.
I am going to take 10 bucks out of my acct and hit the farmers markets and try to get as much fruit as I can for 10 bucks.
I am going to make low fat wheat bread by scratch this Sunday or Monday for lunches. I have whole wheat flour and yeast. I can do this! :-) (Which I will include the recipe after I create it)
I have fixings for turkey burgers, and enough left over SF dressing to make another batch of pasta salad.
2. I need to work out. It is supposed to be rainy this week in WI so I need to pack some gym clothes in the car so I can go to the Y after work if it is raining. No excuses.
3. Need to take a step back from wedding planning/budgeting. It is really overwhelming to me.
Ok so hopefully this will get me back on track! I don't want to feel bloated and ashamed of what I have eaten. That is not who I want to be or how I want to live my life. Right now, I feel like food has total control over my life.
I will take a picture of everything I put in my mouth even if it is just string cheese because it will keep me accountable and on track. I don't care how crazy I might seem.
A Random pic of my good friend and me at a costume party. She was Britney Spears a la 2005. She won. That is me on the right!!

Probably just hang with the boy exhausted at this point.
Friday is the boy's 26th birthday. Fish fry with him and his family and Saturday we are going to IL to pick up MY ENGAGEMENT RING!!!!! and go to Chicago for the Jazz Fest! Should be an amazing time, but I will need all the AP's and WP I can get to not bust the bank.
The cat's are fine. Bogart is as sweet as ever and well Lily... she loves RF oreo's as much as I do.
Plus she ate a frozen waffle I had out on the counter to toast. She chewed it up before I got back to it. She needs some Kitty WW.

Ok, before you even start, I know I haven't posted in a week. I'm sorry!! My internet was down. Don't get me started on Time Warner Cable in WI. It sucks. A lot.
Oh.... and I GOT ENGAGED. Yup, the boy proposed. I wasn't expecting it at all, but he asked me Thursday night. We have kinda been in a whirlwind of telling everyone. He didn't even have the ring yet, but he said he couldn't wait any longer to ask me. My mom is giving us my Grandmother's ring which means a lot to me. We are having the families meet for the first time (which is really odd that my mom hasn't met them yet when I think about it but they do live in different states) on Sunday for a picnic.
For my weigh in on Wednesday I lost 3.8lbs which brings me in at 178.6. I was very happy about this! BUT let me tell you with all the celebrating I did this weekend, I probably will see a gain this Wednesday. I really need my WW online to stay on track with points!! I tried to do it on paper but I just don't do as well with it.
So this last week, I also started my new job. Yup working in an office again! But let me tell you, we are so busy! I really like the school I am working for and I am so busy that I don't get that bored hungry which is good!
I will kinda go over some of the food we had this week.
Here is a pic of the slow cooker lasgana I made last week with some light garlic bread and a side salad. Yum!
I like to make calzones. They are easy, can be low point, and taste awesome. I make my own whole wheat dough.
Don't be afraid of yeast doughs. They can be tough but pizza dough is a good place to start.
Makes 2lbs
1 packet of active dry yeast
1 and 1/2 cup room temp water
1 tsp sugar
1tbsp olive oil
3 cups all purpose flour
1 and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
Mix sugar and water. Sprinkle the yeast over the water. Do not mix the yeast into the water yet. Let it sit for 5 to 10 mins.
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the olive oil to the water mixture and mix. Slowly add to flour mixing with a wooden spoon. Combine and knead dough in bowl until elastic for about 10 mins. Let it rise covered loosely with plastic wrap in a warm area (I just do mine on the stove) for about an hour and half.
Then I divide the dough in half and put into gallon plastic bags. I freeze a lb to have on hand and I used the other lb to make the calzones below for 1/4 of a lb of dough it is roughly 4pts.
I rolled it out and put in spinach, RF ricotta and mozzarella cheese, some garlic powder and Italian seasonings and some turkey pepperoni I had on hand.
Crimp the edges of the dough so they are shut and poke a hole in the top. Bake in an oven at 400 for 20 mins.
I dipped mine in pasta sauce and had veggies as a side.
For lunch everyday, I pretty much had a turkey, wheat thin, RF cheese, and mustard. Some cut up mixed berries, a RF string cheese, 100 cal almonds, and an apple.
Bad food choice wise I had a ton of sushi with the boy to celebrate on Friday night with 3 drinks and a piece of flourless chocolate cake. It was amazing.
Saturday, I went to my future sister in laws baby shower which meant more good food, meatballs and cake.
Sunday, we went to church and stayed for some pastries (come on we had to tell people we were engaged.... right?... right?) Ok it kinda spun out of control at this point. When we stopped at the mall so I could get new work pants (cuz I am done a size! Which is a miracle as I list all this food LOL) and we got gelato.
Then I was tired after laundry, so we got gyros with some onion rings and a raspberry shake.
Um yeah my stomach was done this morning. lol.
Today I had:
Breakfast:
oatmeal prepared with water a
a mango
Coffee
Lunch:
Apple
Yogurt
Ham, cheese, wheat thin sandwich
String cheese
Snack:
almonds
Dinner
2 eggs with RF mozzarella cheese
berry smoothie made with yogurt
2 low fat wheat waffles with 1 tsbp maple syrup
I did a 2 mile run and walked 2 miles today for 522 cals or 5APs
I promise to be more on task this week for pics and updates!
Oh I might include wedding stuff in here now too!
Oh the furbabies! Can't forget the cats!
They are currently eating a new kind of food that was on sale at the Whole Foods. They seem to like it just fine but I think Lily liked the oatmeal I made for her one day when I ran out of the dry food.

Weekend Update!
This was my first weekend without working in about 9 months. Boy, is it nice to have a weekend!!
This is going to be a combined update:
Saturday:
Breakfast
Coffee
Water
Banana-Peanut Butter French Toast
I took 1 slices of wheat bread spread 2 tsp of peanut butter on one side, topped with a sliced banana, and covered with another slice of wheat bread. Beat one egg in a bowl with a dash of cinnamon, vanilla extract, and skim milk. Dip sandwich into egg and cook on stove in nonstick pan until golden brown. Covered with one tbsp of pure maple syrup. Give me the real stuff! I don't deal with fake SF maple syrup!!
Then I had a great 5 mile run completed in 45 mins. Burned 667 calories = 6.5 APs. The weather by the lake was beautiful, and I even stumbled into other runners doing a 5K!! It was funny b/c I was going teh opposite direction. Opps! :-)
Lunch:
Turkey Burger on Wheat thin
Spinach salad with 1 tbsp light dressing and peppers
Banana Ice Cream:
Freeze 1 broken down banana peeled then blend with a dash of milk to make a frosty treat.
The boy was doing a weapons display at an event for the Marine Corps at the Harley Davison museum so I stopped by and saw him for awhile! Need to get better with taking pictures at this point in the weekend! I promise to post a pic of me and the boy soon!
After the boy got home, we went grocery shopping, and we were very hungry since it was about 7pm when we got home.
Dinner: (used some WP on this!)
1 Turkey cheddar dog on a whole wheat bun
1 serving whole wheat mac and cheese
1 cup green greens
1 cup baked beans
2 cups Chocolate pudding fluff
I forgot to take pics, and the boy very valiantly offered to have thirds so I could take a pic but I said it was okay! :-) Throughout dinner Lily really wanted scraps, and she literally tried to take a bite out of the boys turkey sausage. We started to watch where she was after that!
~Saturday 38.5 points used - 6.5 Aps earned~
Sunday:
Went to early morning church then stopped by at the boy's parent's house. Took their huge 110lb golden pooch for a walk. I tried running with him once, but he will only go once around the block before he is exhausted!
Stopped by a local bakery that is really well known to get a treat for breakfast.
Got 2 cinnamon rolls and 2 pieces of tiramisu for dessert tonight.
Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs
1 cinnamon roll
1 cup fresh pineapple
Coffee
OK at this point, I need to address my severe addiction to caffeine. I don't have that "oh haha I'm a little groggy in the morning until I get my cup of joe" coffee need. I become a different and extremely moody person without coffee. Due to church, I didn't have any coffee for about 4 hours after waking. Usually, I drink coffee immediately and have about 6-7 big cups through out the day. I know its bad! but that is why they call it addiction.
So I am going to need to start cutting back. But really not this next week with the new job. New life goal: Cut back on caffeine need. It got this bad in college, and I had to reduce back then as well. Le Sigh!
Lunch:
1 Turkey Cheddar dog with whole wheat bun
1 cup red grapes
1 cup strawberries
The boy had to go color guard a funeral for an retired marine this evening (which he does a large amount of). I painted my toes and planned out my outfit for tomorrow. (Green colored light sweater with black pants and comfy black shoes b/c I think there will be a lot of walking tomorrow)
If WW has taught me anything, it is you will always feel more in control if you plan ahead!
For dinner tonight, I am making a WW slow cooker lasagna with a side salad and light garlic bread. Then we have that Tiramisu for dessert. Here is a pic of the lasagna in the slow cooker. It actually turns out really well in there! You top it with cheese when its done.
I am taking today off for running, but I think the boy and I will either do yoga tonight or take a walk when he gets home.
~45 Points used (Not sure if I am earning any APs)~
I still have 6.5 Aps left for the week plus those I will earn on Monday and Tuesday so I should be good to go!!
Lily loves all her cat toys while she sleeps in her bed! She is also the guard of the WW scale :-)
